Let's
Play Music (ages 4+) is an introductory
music & piano
course. This age-appropriate school-year curriculum is packed
with full-body movement and fun games, but wondrously introduces
advanced theory concepts. In Year 1, your child will learn to
match and sing on pitch, recognize and transcribe simple melodic
patterns, read and play simple musical patterns on tone bells,
recognize and enjoy themes in favorite classical pieces, and
so much more! Parents attend the 45 minute class every other
week to enjoy and learn the activities, while initiating the
road to independence on the off-weeks. Well-designed homework
and assignments help students prepare for future practice routines.
